SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Members of the Scotch Plains PBA Local 87 presented a check in the amount of $12,911.00 to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHoP) on Dec. 29.

Nick Fritz, CHoP's coordinator for peer-to-peer fundraising, accepted the check on behalf of the medical facility. The donated funds were the result of the PBA’s 32nd Annual Children’s Charity Golf Classic held at Shackamaxon Country Club on Oct. 2, 2017.

On hand to present the check were SPPD Chief Ted Conley, Det. Brian Hayeck, Nick Fritz (CHoP), Det. Mark Lynch, Sgt. Dennis Murphy, and Officer Sean Silva. Not pictured: Chairs Sgt. Stan Pearson, Lt. Jeff Briel and PBA Pres. Zack VonLangen.
