PLAINFIELD, NJ - Gentlemen Making Changes, a non-profit organization, will host the 2nd Annual Walk for a Cure Diabetes Walk-a-thon at Plainfield's Hub Stein Sports Complex on Saturday, Nov. 25.
The purpose of the event is to advocate for diabetes awareness, and to raise funds in support of changing the impact that diabetes has on so many lives. Almost one in ten, or 30.3 million people in the U.S. has diabetes, according to the 2017 National Diabetes Statistics Report.
The cost to participate in Sunday's walk for adults is $35, and those under 18 are $10. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
