PLAINFIELD, NJ - According to law enforcement, shots were fired Monday night in the Everett Place neighborhood in Plainfield. Non-life threatening injuries were sustained. More information will be released as it is provided.
Update from Plainfield Police Division: At approximately 8:45 p.m. Monday night, Nov. 30th, officers responded to the area of the 10 Block of Everett Place after receiving calls of shots fired. Upon arrival units found evidence of a shooting, but no victim(s) were located.
Shortly thereafter, the Police Division was contacted by an area hospital that an adult male victim had arrived with a non-life threatening injury. Shortly after that, police were advised that a second adult male victim had arrived at another area hospital, also with non-life threatening injuries. Both individuals remain hospitalized and are in stable condition at this time.
