PLAINFIELD, NJ — Up to one inch of snow and a “light glaze” of ice is likely Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

A winter weather advisory in effect 7 a.m. — midnight predicts the precipitation will create slippery road conditions and impact the evening commute.

The advisory issued Monday warned the public to slow down and use caution while traveling.
