  • Plainfield Library: Teen Event 11-17 year olds. Design a t-shirt with your favorite stuff on it! Use Canva to create digital designs to be transferred to your t-shirt in part 2 (August 13th)


  • National Night Out:  Plainfield City Hall Plaza. Backpack give away, organizations, vendors, music and food


  • Senior Space at the Plainfield Library (10 – 2pm)
  • Plainfield Public Library: Code Combat 4-5 pm.  For 9-17 year olds. Code in Python to defeat monsters, navigate mazes and solve fantasy puzzles. Play a character in a fantastic quest while learning coding basics.



  • BOE Senior Summer Graduation ceremony: 10 am PHS
  • City of Plainfield:  Ecuadorian Flag Raising at 6 pm on the steps of City Hall
  • DuCret School of Art:  Paint and Pour  at 7 pm – Enjoy a relaxing session of guided painting while sipping on tasty wine! Reserve your space online:


  • City of Plainfield Microchip Clinic for Pets: at the Fire Dept Headquarters located at 315 Central Ave from 10 am to 1 pm
  • City of Plainfield: Rep your Pool swim competition at 9 am at Hannah Atkins Pool
  • DuCret School of Art:  Ghost Hunt  8:30 PM  11:30 PM  There have been reports of people seeing “shadow figures” as well as people being touched when no one else around in the building.
