  • The Community Choir, with Choir Director Wendell C. Woods, meets for its mandatory dress rehearsal at Shiloh Baptist Church, 515 West 5th Street at 7:00 p.m.  Hear the choir at the Dec. 1 performance at City Hall.

  • Senior Space at the library is a place for older adults to learn, and socialize through activities, classes and more! Yoga, Art, Healthy Eating, Resources for Seniors are just a few of the offerings. Every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Enjoy Storytime with Ms. T. in the Children's Library, 800 Park Avenue, from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m.
  • It's Anime night at the Plainfield Public Library, 800 Park Avenue, at 5:30 p.m.  Tonight, enjoy "Wolf Children" directed by Mamoru Hosoda.
  • MissionCleanWater Founder James Leitner will be at The Coffee Box, at 1359 South Avenue, to talk about his walk across the country while pulling almost 90 pounds of water to raise funds for projects that include repairing water infrastructure and training communities on well maintenance in Tanzania.  Learn more here.


  • It's a Holiday Lights Celebration in Plainfield!  Caroling, hot chocolate, and Santa, who arrives at 6:45 p.m.  One complimentary family photo.  Gift distribution at 6:45 p.m. and proof of residency is required.  Child must be present to receive a gift.  City Hall is located at 515 Watchung Avenue.

A portion of all art sales will benefit the Plainfield Humane Society. 
  • The Donald Van Blake Tennis & Education Foundation will present its Fundraising Dance Extravaganza, featuring local DJ extraordinaire, DJ Lenny Len.
