The Transformations Gallery at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse will be hosting a new exhibit, Three Directions: Patterns and Textures, featuring three New Jersey Artists, Andrea Epstein, Beryl Koblin, and Janice Fried. The exhibition dates are April 30-July 28, 2017, with an Opening Reception on Sunday, April 30th, 2-4 pm.
The artists all explore texture, patterns and color in distinct ways that exemplify a mixed media approach.
Printmaker Andrea Epstein will be displaying abstract monoprints .Her current monoprints are multilayered pieces, hand colored linoleum prints incorporating repeated imagery that draws the viewer into her richly textured and evocative world.
Textile Artist, Beryl Koblin will be exhibiting a selection of her delicate and richly nuanced weavings, using found materials and a wide variety of fibers.
Janice Fried will be exhibiting her mixed media works on paper.
