PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Plainfield varsity baseball team scored a run in the bottom of the seventh for a 7-6 victory over Brearley High School of Kenilworth on Thursday.

The victory extended the undefeated Cardinals' winning streak to 5-0. They are the only team in Union County that is still unbeaten.

Waldy Arias hit a two-run home run, Randy Washington had a double, a single and two RBI and Brian Santos was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored for Plainfield. Brearley had rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game, 6-6.
