PLAINFIELD, NJ - Judy Waters, Director of the French School of Music, is spearheading an effort to create a Performing and Visual Arts Center in Plainfield.

On Monday, Feb. 27th, the community is invited to meet at duCret School of Art to learn more in this exploratory meeting.  

Jeffrey Nathanson, former Executive Director of The Arts Council of Princeton, will be on hand to provide guidance.  Over his eleven year tenure at The Arts Council, he was a champion of the role that the arts play in building community.

The duCret School of Art is located at 1030 Central Avenue in Plainfield.  The meeting takes place from 7:30-9:00 pm.

The French School of Music was established in 1927 based on the principle that anyone, including children and novices, can learn the art of music.
