PLAINFIELD, NJ - Over 13 members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County Plainfield Club recently recorded a Thriller video for a competition with Boys & Girls Clubs of America ALL STAR SPORTS.

Members choreographed, staged, designed the set, make up, hair and costumes and directed the video. Everyone had a great time preparing for and participating in the video.

Now we are asking our friends in the community to help us win this competition. We need you to “LIKE” our video on YouTube: Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County “Thriller” Video! We need to get as many “LIKES” as possible by November 15. Thank you to everyone for your support.

The ALL STAR Sports program is made possible by a national partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings. Team members at Watchung Buffalo Wild Wings joined us in dancing in the video – check them out. Buffalo Wild Wings is committed to supporting the development and growth of ALL STARS team sports programs including football, basketball, soccer, dance, step and cheer for Boys & Girls Club youth around the country.

This program works with youth to build character and teach young people skills that help them succeed on and off the field. During November and December, $1 from each Holiday Sauce and Seasoning purchased at Watchung Buffalo Wild Wings will be donated to our Clubs.

Stay tuned for our next competition video at the end of December….. Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County offers youth programs in 5 communities in Union County: Plainfield, Elizabeth, Union, Hillside and Roselle.

After School Programs for 2017-2018 are open now. Teen leadership programs for ages 14-18 are available in Union, Elizabeth and Plainfield. Members participate in character-building, leadership, career preparation and community service activities throughout the year. Aquatics instruction and water safety is available at our Union Club.
