On November 16 and 17, 2019 Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church at 716 Watchung Avenue in Plainfield is pulling out all the stops for a grand weekend of celebrating 175 years of history. On Saturday, November 16 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm there will be a dinner prepared by Chef Kevin Cook, an elegant meal and time to gather with old friends or meet new ones. At 8:00 pm the famed Tim Keyes Consort will present ‘Symphony in C’ (what one person described as a breathtaking piece of music) in our wonderful sanctuary. Imagine over 100 musicians filling the space with incredible music. Then, on Sunday, November 17, past and present pastors, members and friends will gather for a special service of worship at 10:30 am followed by a special time of fellowship.

The community is invited to join in the celebration. CAPC has a long history of dedication to ministry, mission and the musical arts and this weekend is a celebration of that legacy. Concert tickets are $35.00, Dinner tickets are $75.00.  A combination dinner/concert ticket is  $100.00 and ensures preferred seating.
