EDISON, NJ-- Tim Head of Cranford, fifth grade teacher and Middle School coach at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison, provided a tutorial on disc golf to sixth and seventh grade students in their physical education class. Mr. Head demonstrated some pointers on throwing and putting techniques and explained how to navigate from tee to tee on the school’s new 9 hole "Gold" and "Green" courses. Mr. Head and W+H athletic trainer Ryan Oliveira designed the course over the summer from funds provided through the W+H Parents’ Association annual mini-grants fund. The course is located beyond the Lower School garden, in the grove near Hill House and where Fargo House used to reside.
