Free Workshop: How to Start a Small Business in New Jersey

Abra Watson and Michael Kovacs, of the Taxation University, an outreach and training unit within the New Jersey Division of Taxation, will conduct the workshop. The workshop will cover basic information about starting a business in New Jersey. It will provide attendees with the opportunity to ask questions about their specific situations and get the answers they need. Topics that will be covered include: the different types of business structures, how to register a small business in New Jersey, and how to report your New Jersey business income. The length of the workshop is approximately one hour and 45 minutes. Seating is limited and registration is required. The workshop is being hosted by the Cranford Public Library. To register, email John Malar at the Cranford Public Library, j-malar@cranfordnj.org, or call him at 908-709-7272, ext. 2101.
