Freeholders Honor Plainfield's Alexis Morrast for Win at "Showtime at the Apollo"

PLAINFIELD, NJ - You may remember this feel-good story of a 10th grader at Plainfield Academy for the Arts & Advanced Studies (PAAAS) who won first prize at "Showtime at the Apollo" in February.

In recognition of Morrast's accomplishment, Union County Freeholders Linda Carter and Mohamed S. Jalloh presented her with a resolution congratulating her on winning the one-hour FOX special hosted by Steve Harvey.

Morrast was joined by her parents, Lorenzo and Tiffany Morrast.
