WESTFIELD, NJ – A children's shoe store has lost its foothold in on Elm Street.
The Castle Bootery announced Friday it is leaving its location at 52 Elm St., after about 70 years in Downtown Westfield. The announcement said the retailer lost its lease and will be closing on Dec. 30.
Eric Graff, who has owned the shop for the last 28 of the store’s years, said he doesn’t know if he will be opening at another location.
“We’ve always taken very good care of our customers,” Graff told TAPinto.net. “We’ve always given them the best personal care and support over these years.”
The store told its customers on Friday that all of the shop’s products would be marked 20 percent off until its closing.
