PLAINFIELD, NJ - Wondering what's going on around town on Saturday?  Here's a sneak peek at some Plainfield events.

  • The Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority will host its annual Eric C. Watson Memorial Environmental Fair, now in its 20th year - enjoy games, music, entertainment, vendors, educational exhibits, and free food.  The fair will be held in the park at the library, 800 Park Avenue.
  • Back to School Giveaway at The Mount Olive Baptist Church, 216 Liberty Street, from 12 to 3 p.m., while supplies last.
  • Back to School Fun Day at Metropolitan SDA Church, 1003 W 4th St at 3 p.m.
  • Savor Wines of South Africa at the Annual Friends of the Plainfield Public Library Event - Learn more here.
  • Microchip & Free Rabies Clinic - Take your pet to the microchip and free rabies clinic to the parking lot at City Hall at 515 Watchung Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plainfield residents: microchip at the discounted rate of $10 per pet.  Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers.
