Digital Resources for Local History at the Plainfield Public Library: Co-hosted by the Historical Society of Plainfield / Drake House Museum, learn about the many digital resources available to historians and genealogists via Plainfield Public Library’s website. Most of these do not require a library card and are free to use from the comfort of your home. On Thursday, May 6, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Register for this free event here.

Students in the Social Studies classes at the Plainfield Academy for the Arts and Advanced Studies (PAAAS) and Plainfield High School (PHS) who participated in this year’s Youth Participatory Action Research Project, (YPAR) will be presenting the findings of their research during a webinar on Wednesday, May 5, at 6:15 p.m. that is open to the community.  Read more here.
