PLAINFIELD, NJ - The League of Women Voters of Plainfield has announced that it will hold a candidate forum for school board candidates prior to the November 5 General Election.  It will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30 at duCret School of the Arts, located at 1030 Central Avenue.

Board of Ed seats currently held by Carmencita Pile and Lynn Anderson-Person, along with Eric J. Andrews, who beat out Dorien Hurtt for a 1-year unexpired term in the 2018 General Election, will be filled.

Those running for a seat can submit candidate statements to TAPinto Plainfield at, and anyone can write a Letter to the Editor that can be uploaded directly to the site.
