PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Plainfield School District extends an open invitation to students, parents, educators, staff and the Plainfield community-at-large, to join Acting Superintendent of Schools Dr. Caryn D. Cooper and school administrators at the State of the District.
The State of the District presentation will be held Thursday, Dec. 7, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Plainfield High School, 950 Park Avenue.
Dr. Cooper will present an overview of the district’s curriculum and state assessments, followed by school administrators, who will present on the status of their schools and future plans.
The event will be held in the cafeteria at Plainfield High School.
Please join Plainfield Public Schools for a night of networking and information about the schools and their academic and achievement status.
Schools will have individual stations for parents to stop by and address questions to their chidlren’s school principals and administrators.
There will be student performances and student artwork exhibit on display.
The Plainfield School District is composed of ten elementary schools, two middle schools, three high schools, and 17 pre-K centers. The district educates approximately 8,700 students.
All Plainfield residents are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
