PLAINFIELD, NJ - On Wednesday, Sept. 6th, the Queen City Academy Charter School (QCA) and Plainfield Mayor Adrian O. Mapp welcomed students and families back to school for the 2017-2018 school year. 

Mapp helped kick off the school year with a meet and greet for students, parents and staff.  

Located at 815 West 7th Street in Plainfield, QCA aims to provide a nurturing and cooperative learning community where each student can achieve his/her maximum academic, creative and physical potential.

QCA teaches classes from kindergarten to 8th grade.  Through independent and collaborative learning, QCA aims to help their students develop self-esteem, self-discipline, emotional independence, respect for the environment, responsibility, respect for everyone, and academic independence.
