PLAINFIELD, NJ — To celebrate the 19th Amendment Centennial, the League of Women Voters and the four New Jersey Girl Scout Councils are partnering to create Voter Girl Events on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The statewide events will include all League of Women Voters chapters, and all the Girl Scout Councils.

Susan Ferris, President of the League of Women Voters for Berkeley Heights, New Providence and Summit, said, "This is a wonderful opportunity for girls and women of ALL ages to see women who are actively engaged in making Democracy Work. This coincides with the 100th Anniversary of both the League of Women Voters and the passage of the 19th Amendment."

The GS Heart of NJ event will be held at duCret School of Art, at 1030 Central Avenue in Plainfield.
