PLAINFIELD, NJ - According to a release by Senator Nicholas P. Scutari, he and Plainfield Mayor Adrian O. Mapp went door-to-door to talk with county committee members on Wednesday.

“As Senator, Nick Scutari has worked tirelessly for the City of Plainfield.  As a County Chair he will bring that same work ethic to elect Democrats up and down the line.  He’s showing that work ethic by contacting voters for support,” remarked Mayor Adrian Mapp.

Mayor Mapp continued, “that’s how we win elections—by working hard every day and personally contacting voters. Senator Scutari is showing leadership, rolling up his sleeves and walking, not just talking.”

“From my first campaign for the Linden Board of Education, I’ve learned there is no replacement for personal contact. This race for chairman is no different. I have been directly reaching out to county committee people, countywide. I will continue to do so through the convention and beyond - preserving the legacy of Chairman Jerry Green and Chairwoman Charlotte DeFilippo and ensuring Democratic victories throughout the County,” remarked Senator Scutari.
