PLAINFIELD, NJ — Maxson Middle School students in Plainfield are holding a shoe drive to support New Jersey Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, an organization that promotes responsibility and development of healthy active lifestyles for students, educators and community members in New Jersey.

Shoes and other footwear items can be dropped off in any Health, Physical Education, or Dance Teachers within the Plainfield Public Schools District. Donations will be brought to the annual NJAHPERD convention in February, and then shipped to developing and Third World countries to benefit those in need. All types, sizes and kinds are welcomed.
