PLAINFIELD, NJ - Residents are advised that the August Planning Board meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, August 15th has been cancelled per a notice from the Board Secretary on the city’s website. The notice lists the following three resolutions that were to be memorialized and which will now occur at the September 5th meeting:

  • 1322 South Ave Enterprises LLC’s application to converts vacant one-story strip mall at 1314-1326 South Ave to a Laundromat;
  • J &C Realty Inc.’s application for change of tenancy and use to a house of worship for property at 120-128 West 7th Street; and
  • South Terrill Urban Renewal LLC’s application for final site plan for the construction of a Wawa food market and fueling station at 1444 – 1470 South Avenue.

Planning Board meetings are held on the First and Third Thursday of each month in the Plainfield City Hall Library, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. and begin at 7:30 pm. The next meeting is scheduled for September 5, 2019.
