Plainfield, NJ -- February 4, 2020- Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5th, 2020, the City of Plainfield will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wawa food market and gas station. This project is just one of the many redevelopment projects in the South Avenue East Redevelopment Zone which offers convenience to Plainfield residents and potential residents.
The Wawa will be located near the northeast corner of the intersection of South Avenue and Terrill road, and will cover approximately 1.74 acres. The existing buildings will be demolished in order to accommodate the 5,100 space which will feature twelve fueling gas stations and a food market.
The developer, Accurate Builders, has experience developing commercial, residential, and mixed-used projects all around the Northeast. The diverse projects successfully completed by Accurate Builders demonstrate their versatility; they have developed strip malls, convenience stores, franchise restaurants, office buildings, single and multi-family residential homes, and more. The construction will take approximately nine (9) months.
This is an exciting development for Plainfield. It provides increased options for residents in Plainfield and surrounding areas. It also gives prospective residents one more reason to consider Plainfield as their new home.
