PLAINFIELD, NJ — The Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority will start collecting paper recyclables sooner than originally scheduled this upcoming holiday week.

To help avoid a post-holiday backup of household refuse, Plainfield residential recycling collections will begin early Thursday, Dec. 26, and will run through Saturday, Dec. 28.

PMUA asks residents in all zones to put their paper and cardboard materials at the curb on Wednesday evening, December 25, and leave it curbside until pickup is completed.
