PLAINFIELD, NJ — Plainfield Mayor Adrian O. Mapp issued Executive Order #3 on Monday, adding additional restrictions to the order that was put forth on Sunday.  The new order notes there is now a presumptive positive of COVID-19 in Plainfield.

The order also restricts all in-room dining in restaurants. Take-out food services, delivery, and drive-thru services will be allowed at all restaurants until normal closing hours.

An 8 p.m. curfew will go into effect for all retail consumption liquor license holders.

A joint order by the governors of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey calls for restaurants and bars to close for on premise service and move to take-out and delivery only, effective 8 p.m. tonight while movie theaters, gyms and casinos will also temporarily close, effective 8 p.m tonight.
