PLAINFIELD, NJ — Winter break is in full swing, so kids, why not spend it with Plainfield's First Responders?  Enjoy three days of fun and learning, geared towards teaching the youth in the city about the important roles police, fire and rescue squad members play in protecting residents.

The program is being held in conjunction with the Queen City Mentoring Academy.  Activities will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 27.

The free program is for students ages 5 to 13 years old who will be provided with breakfast, lunch and a snack each day. 

The youth academy will be held at the Plainfield Public Arts Center, at 724 Park Avenue in Plainfield.  Registration is not required.
