PLAINFIELD, NJ — The Plainfield Rescue Squad is seeking the community's help.  The EMS facility is fully staffed, and always open; however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, daily call volume has tripled, and is expected to surpass the 7,000 calls the staff normally responds to each year.

Supplies and resources are now strained.  The squad is in dire need of the following items:

  • N95 masks
  • Surgical regular masks
  • Plastic or paper gowns
  • Nitrile gloves
  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Hand sanitizers
  • Hazmat suits

The Plainfield Rescue Squad is located at 700 West 7th Street.  Items can be dropped off at the side door by the parking lot.
