UPDATE:  Per Plainfield Police Director Carl Riley, Alejandro Abreau-Garcia was located by Highland Park Police, and he is in good health.

PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Plainfield Police Division is seeking the public's help in locating an "at-risk" missing person. 

According to the police, on Monday, Dec. 3, Alejandro Abreau-Garcia left his residence on foot and failed to return.  He has recently been diagnosed with acute dementia, and takes medication daily.

Abreau-Garcia is described as male, Hispanic, and 81 years old.  He is 5'6", approximately 130 pounds, with brown eyes, and partially gray hair.  He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and gray sneakers. 

Abreau-Garcia is known to frequent the corner store at Monroe Ave & West 3rd St. in Plainfield, as well as New Market Rd. and Washington Ave. in Piscataway.
