PLAINFIELD, NJ — Reports from Breaking News Network indicate there is a fully involved warehouse fire on the 700 block of West Front St. in Plainfield, off of Grant Ave.

BNN reports there is supporting service from Westfield Ladder Company, on ember patrol, and Cranford as a secondary water supply.

NJ Transit's Raritan Valley Line rail service is suspended in both directions according to a 6:14 p.m. alert on the website.

UPDATE: According to a 9:57 p.m. alert, Raritan Valley Line rail service has resumed in both directions following earlier local fire department activity near Plainfield.

UPDATE: According to a 7:11 p.m. njtransit.com alert, Raritan Valley Line rail service remains suspended in both directions due to local fire department activity near Plainfield. Substitute bus service is being provided between Plainfield and Dunellen.
