PLAINFIELD, NJ — Here is a quick look at what's on the Plainfield Planning Board agenda on Thursday night. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the library at City Hall, 515 Watchung Ave.
The Joshwa Money School is seeking to convert a single-family dwelling into a bed-and-breakfast guesthouse with 12 guest rooms that would include construction of an off-street 13-space parking lot.
In a VIMEO video posted six years ago, Jonathan Steingraber of the Joshwa Money School said the home, built in 1880, has 26 rooms and 10 bedrooms.
The 911 South Avenue LLC is seeking approvals to permit the construction of an elevated emergency ramp. Family Dollar is located at 911 South Ave. and Paramount Assets was behind its construction.
And the 829 South Avenue LLC, another Paramount Assets project, is seeking an amendment to previously approved preliminary and final site plan approval to construct a mixed-use 4-story building that consists of commercial space on the first floor, and 70 residential apartments on the upper three floors.
According to the agenda, there are no redevelopment studies or plans up for discussion at the meeting.
