PLAINFIELD, NJ - Twelve teenage boys from the Plainfield basketball team recently finished their summer basketball season at 25-0.  They successfully went through two tournaments, the Bloomfield College Youth Basketball Summer Camp and the summer session of the Primetime Shootout invitational tournament, without a loss.

The coaching staff had a great number of players commit to the summer camp and it showed in their performance in the games.

Coach Mike Gordon said, “The players have been working extremely hard. They have a better understanding of what we are trying to accomplish. By no means did we have a "perfect" summer, but I will say we got better. We before Me! Coaches Andre Dabney, Eric Blackmon and Ike Howard did a great job with preparing daily lesson plans around what we were trying to accomplish this summer. We still have a long way to go, but we are looking forward to this upcoming season.”
