PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Rotary Club of the Plainfields held its 92nd Annual Track and Field Meet on Wednesday at Hub Stine field.  Three schools registered in time to have their athletes to compete -  Maxson Middle School in Plainfield, Valley View School in Watchung, and North Plainfield Middle School.

Meet Director Michael Townley said there were 101 athletes registered, and 85 participated, with 64 of those winning a medal or ribbon or both.

Athletes who register for one field event (long jump, high jump, shot put) or one track event (55 meter run, 100 meter run, 800 meter run) can also register for running in a relay event. As a result, they can win a medal in their first event and then win a medal or ribbon in the relay event.
