Freeholder Vice Chair Kowalski to be selected as Chair of Board, Freeholder Mirabella as Vice Chairman
UNION COUNTY, NJ - Union County Government will hold its annual reorganization at the County Courthouse on Sunday, Jan. 6 beginning at 12 p.m.
Freeholder Vice Chair Bette Jane Kowalski of Cranford is expected to be selected as Chair of the Board, and Freeholder Alexander Mirabella of Fanwood is expected to be selected as Vice Chairman.
Those scheduled to be sworn into new terms include: Freeholder Mirabella, as well as two new Freeholders, Kimberly Palmieri-Mouded and Andrea Staten.
Freeholder Rebecca Williams will also be sworn in to fill an unexpired term on the Board.
Freeholders will pick a Chairperson for the year, and also vote to fill numerous positions on county advisory boards and to adopt the board’s 2019 schedule and more.
