PLAINFIELD, NJ — Due to inclement weather, advisories have been issued for Monday afternoon and evening activities in Plainfield.
The City Council, by order of Council President Joylette Mills-Ransome, has canceled the Agenda-Fixing Session that was scheduled to take place Monday, Dec. 2.
According to the notice, a Combined Agenda-Fixing Session will be held on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at 325 Watchung Ave.
The Plainfield Public Schools district issued the following notice:
Due to the pending weather forecast, ALL Plainfield Public Schools after school and p.m. activities are canceled. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the morning. Student Safety FIRST. #Champions #teamppsd @PlainfieldBOE
A second notice from the school district was issued via email at 12:30 p.m.
CODE YELLOW: All Plainfield Public Schools will be operating on a half-day schedule (CODE YELLOW) due to inclement weather. Please be safe of the roads. #TeamPPSD #Champions
