Free African American History Conference at Rahway High School, Feb. 24

Rahway, NJ - Rahway High School will celebrate Black History Month with an African American History Conference organized by Mr. David Brighouse, Ms. Michelle Price and their students on Friday, February 24th at 6:30 PM.

As in years past, the student-run event will feature academic presentations, the recitation of notable speeches and poems, and several performances by the RHS Gospel Choir. This year’s event will also feature artwork created by Ms. Turon’s Advanced Placement Art students and a tap dance performance by Ms. Dooley’s Performing Arts students.

All those in the Rahway community and others interested are welcome to attend.  The free event takes place in the Rahway High School auditorium.
