ELIZABETH, NJ - Jonathan Parham of Rahway, the former chief of the Linden Police Department, was sworn in as Union County Undersheriff on Friday.
Parham was a member of the Linden Police Department for nearly 25 years, moving up the ladder from officer to captain to chief. He joins the staff of Union County Sheriff Peter Corvelli and fellow undersheriffs Amilcar Colon and Dennis Burke.
Parham's wife, Ebony, held the bible while he was sworn in by Union County Vicinage Assignment Judge, the Hon. Karen Cassidy, at the county courthouse in Elizabeth.
