Rahway Junior Ola Akande Places 5th at Meet of Champions with 14.12 in High Hurdles; Indians' 4x100, 4x400 Relays Place

COLUMBUS, NJ - Rahway junior Ola Akande placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and also helped the 4x100 team earn a seventh-place finish at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions held Saturday at Northern Burlington High.

Akande clocked a personal-best time of 14.12 in the hurdles and anchored the 4x100 team that placed seventh in 42.47. Raul Torres, Jerrish Halsey, Darrell Fleurmond and Akande teamed up with 4x100.

Rahway also placed seventh in the 4x400 relay with Trey Rogers, Raul Torres, Jerrish Halsey and Marvin Polynice clocking 3:18.11.
