Rahway, NJ - The City of Rahway's Rahway Prevention Coalition organized a free, interactive substance abuse awareness program for parents, caregivers and instructors to learn what may be hidden in a teenager's bedroom and what may be indicators of dangerous or high risk behavior.

Special Agent Timothy McMahon from the Drug Enforcement Administration set up a bedroom on the Hamilton Stage and invited all guests to come up and evaluate each piece that was in place. The April 25 event was for adults over the age of 21. The Rahway High School Cheerleaders attended as volunteer babysitters in the lobby.

For interest in setting up this type of program for your organization, please contact Anne Rowan at arowan@cityofrahway.com.
