Students from the Blue and Gold Club Club, a community service organization at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway, recently threw a tea party for their teachers.

They made their own tea bags and gave one to each teacher with a cup and saucer. They had desserts, scones, pound cakes, etc. for the teachers to enjoy.

Barbara Maher, the school nurse, even made a cake that was in the shape of a teapot. Each teacher received some soap that was in the shape of a teapot kettle. Some of the kids wore big, fancy hats while they served the teachers. The teachers really enjoyed and appreciated the celebration.
