ELIZABETH, NJ – Trinitas Regional Medical Center is hosting a forum to discuss new developments in cervical cancer and overall preventative care, Jan. 18, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the Trinitas CORE Building (Center of Regional Education) located at 1164 Elizabeth Ave., Second Floor, in Elizabeth.
Cervical Cancer was once the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, but according to the American Cancer Society this rate has gone down by 50 percent over the past few years. Cervical Health Wellness Forum is presented by Dr. Abu S. Alam, Interim Chair of OB/GYN, who will lead the conversation on the importance of early detection for patients and families.
Parking is available next to the CORE Building on Elizabeth Avenue. You may also use the CORE lot by entering the driveway on South Broad Street next to the Firehouse and across from the Main Public Library. Light Refreshments will be served.
