UCPAC Announces New Performing Arts Conservatory Schedule


RAHWAY, NJ - The Union County Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce the second season of programming for the Performing Arts Conservatory (UCPAC-PAC) featuring a streamlined array of classes and workshops for child, teen and adult actors with an interest in performing on stage and on screen. All courses will take place at venues within the UCPAC buildings. Says Brian Remo, Executive Director of the UCPAC, “We had an opportunity to see what the community wanted to participate in last year and are honing in on those offerings.”

Courses will include On-Camera TV Commercial Acting for Adults, On-Camera Teen Film/Tv Acting Technique for ages 12-17, On Camera Commercial Technique for ages 12-17, Mommy & Me Musical Theater for ages 2-4 plus a Caregiver, Comedy Improv for Teens and Tweens and a Musical Theater Cabaret for Kids ages 8-15. Workshops will include a Musical Theater Audition Workshop For Kids ages 8-12, techniques for memorizing monologues and dialogues for all ages and a Cry-on-Demand seminar. 

Classes and workshops range in price from $20 - $225 depending on the nature of the course. Workshops and courses take place at various times between September 2016 and June 2017.
