Union County College to Participate in National Day of Civic Hacking

Come to Union County College to participate in a free coding session on the National Day of Civic Hacking. Union’s Director of Instructional Design Beth Ritter-Guth, will lead a session on coding relief projects for those affected by the recent hurricanes at #Harvey and #Irma.

The session will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 28, 2017, at the College’s Cranford campus in room N35 of the Nomahegan Building. This free session is open to anyone interested in volunteering their time to help the relief projects and no experience is necessary. However, space is limited, so reservations are required. Please email beth.ritter-guth@ucc.edu to register.

The event is co-sponsored by Union County College’s Girls Gone Wired initiative and the Un10nH4ck5 club. All participants will receive “National Hacker” digital badges.
