MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris County Historical Society announces that its headquarters, Acorn Hall, will be closed for historic house and exhibit tours due to annual interior maintenance from Sunday, August 21 through Sunday, September 4, 2016.
The specific dates affected by the revised schedule at Acorn Hall are: Sunday, August 21; Wednesday, August 24; Thursday, August 25; Sunday, August 28; Wednesday, August 31; Thursday, September 1, and Sunday, September 4, 2016.
"We regret any inconvenience to our visitors due to this revised schedule", said Acorn Hall. "The Society’s business office, however, remains open on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The MCHS office is closed on Labor Day Monday, September 5, 2016".
The MCHS resumes offering historic house and exhibit tours at Acorn Hall on Wednesday, September 7 when it returns to its regular tour schedule on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
