RANDOLPH, NJ- On Sunday June 11, Dr. Voynick and the American Animal Hospital of NJ staff held their 29th annual Open House at their facility on Sussex Turnpike in the heart of Randolph.

Terrie Carr, DJ at local classic rock radio station WDHA was on hand as guest host, broadcasting information about the event over the airwaves.

The fun family and pet friendly event is held every year in June, giving clients and residents of Randolph and the surrounding area, a chance to come see behind the scenes of what the American Animal Hospital staff does.  Demonstrations on acupuncture, pedicures, and dental and surgical procedures were performed to show the range of services available.

Each year at the event, the staff raises money to donate to local animal shelters. This year, a record breaking $2,200 was raised, which was then donated to three different organizations, Friends of Randolph Animal Pound, Eleventh Hour Rescue & St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center.

Accepting the donation for St Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center was Pat Lonergan, for Friends of Randolph Animal Pound was Sunny Nowell & Erika Barkman and for Eleventh Hour Rescue was Linda Schiller.  All were in attendance supporting and contributing to the day’s events.

Many other animal friendly businesses and local animal support service organizations set up tents contributing to the festivities and providing guests with valuable information about their pets.  Food, games, and tricky tray prizes, raffles, and free giveaways helped round out the event.

American Animal Hospital of NJ is located at 1202 Sussex Turnpike in Randolph, at the intersection of Sussex Turnpike and Millbrook Ave. You can learn more by visiting their website:  http://www.americananimalhospital.com/
