Arrested: Anthony Rodriguez Age 20 Wharton NJ On November 8, 2017, upon the request of CCM security, patrols responded to CCM for a report of an assault that had occurred earlier in the evening. Patrols met with security who advised an 18 year old male had been assaulted in the parking lot by an unknown male. This was not initially reported to security, which became aware of this incident when the victim’s mother contacted them. Originally, it was reported that several items were taken from the victim during the assault. After an investigation, it was determined that nothing had been taken from the victim during the incident. Investigation revealed that the victim and the accused were known to each other. The assault appears to have occurred due to a past dispute between the two parties. Mr. Rodriguez was charged with simple assault. He was released pending court.
