RANDOLPH, NJ- On Friday, Oct. 6, the Center Grove Parent Teacher Organization hosted its annual Back to School Carnival. Students, families, and school staff spent a few hours munching on cotton candy, popcorn and other treats and playing games and enjoying other amusements.

About 242 families or 871 people attended the Center Grove Back to School Carnival on Oct. 6. The carnival is not a fundraiser for the PTO, it is just a fun back to school event we throw for the families, said PTO Co-President Allison Manfred. She noted that the PTO does not make money on the event because of the cost of rides, rentals and inflatables.

The event did make a small profit at its tricky tray, which will be used for the expense of future PTO events including a bingo night, PJ Reading night and Sweethearts Dance.

The carnival has been around for at least seven years, Manfred said.
