July 2 : Gerald Morman, 54, Morris Twp was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Randolph Municipal Court.  Morman was unable to post bail and was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility

July 3,: Office James Pritchard Jr. responded to a residence on Brandywine Ct for a report of a damaged mailbox.  The mailbox was broken at the base and located standing up in bushes on the property line.

July 7: Officer Michael Puskas responded to a restaurant on RT 10 for a report of stolen used cooking oil.  The authorized business to pick up the used cooking oil reported the theft.

July 7: Officer Brian Gallina took a report of Theft by Deception.  The victim stated he booked a vacation thru “Trip Advisor”.  When he reached his destination, the victim was unable to contact the rental owner.  The victim contacted “Trip Advisor” and it was determined the rental owner’s account had been hacked by an unknown party.

July 14: Michael S. Gordon, 29, Dover was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Morristown, Municipal Court.   Gordon was processed and released.

July 19: Joshua P. Rios, 19, Florham Park was arrested during a motor vehicle stop.  Rios was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  He was processed and issued several motor vehicle summonses prior to being released.

July 20: Lauren N. Isabella, 27, Landing, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and subsequently arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Town of Dover Municipal Court.  Isabella was processed and released.

July 23: Police responded to a residence on Tudor Place for a report of a house fire.  The homeowner reported seeing smoke in the basement of the house.  There appeared to be mulch and a part of the house that was smoldering.  The Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

July 24: Fernando A. Ramirez, 26, Norwalk CT was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and subsequently arrested for Driving while Intoxicated.  Ramirez was processed and issued several motor vehicle summonses prior to being released.

July 25: Ringo G. Rodriguez, 19, South Richmond Hill, NY was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Rodriguez was processed and issued several motor vehicle summonses prior to being released.

Jul 25: Yefferson Guridy, 23, Dover was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Mine Hill Municipal Court.  Guridy was processed and released.

July 26: Officer James Pritchard Jr. responded to a residence on Statford Dr for a report of a damaged mailbox.  The victim stated it appeared that someone lit a firework inside the mailbox.

July 29: Officer Edward Shivas responded to a residence on Sussex Tpk for a reported burglary.  The victim stated the framework around the front door was damaged and several items were taken.  The Morris County Sheriff’s Office C.I.S. Unit responded to process the scene.

The Police Department took several reports of Identity Theft and Credit Card Fraud.    All the victims stated someone had used their personal information to open accounts.
