On Nov. 21-23, you can help build an “all access” playground at Central Park of Morris County, on the former grounds of Greystone Park State Psychiatric Hospital on the border of Morris Plains and Parsippany.

The New York Jets and the United Way of Northern New Jersey provided the grant for the project, which will enable children with special needs and able-bodied children to play together. When completed, this will be one of only a dozen playgrounds in New Jersey that is completely accessible to children with disabilities.

Construction will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Lunch will be provided to those who stay all day, and snacks will be furnished throughout the day.
